Im just curious, if the chaos guys are doing anything about fixing these problems?
Sure they are not life threatening, but mighty annoying.
I cant really see how it can take that long to fix.

When I login to the forum, it shows like some threads have new posts in them. But when I go into the thread there is no new posts there.

That could be the problem, stick with the WWW variant of the domain

I also received an e-mail notice each and every time someone had posted a new reply to this topic. I think the way it is supposed to work is that one receives one (and only one) e-mail notice for one or more new messages, until one visits the forum again and resets the counter. Perhaps the autologon has something to do with this? Anyway, I eventually selected the option at the bottom of the thread page that allows one to stop watching for replies to that topic, and as expected, now I receive no more e-mail notices of new messages. Maybe this is just a forum rule or setting that needs to be tweaked so that we don't receive multiple notices until visiting the board again, should we choose to select "Notify me when a reply is posted".

I often get 2 or 3 emails even when there is only 1 reply to the thread
