Dr rendering : progressive or bucket

would there be any advantage (memory? speed?) between progressive or bucket rendering while rendering in DR ?

Last time I tested this DR was faster in bucket rendering mode. But that was with Vray next. Maybe things have evolved with VRay 5 ?
As for RAM usage I have no idea, haven't checked that specifically.

progressive uses more memory. bucket is the way to go for DR.

edit: you also see right away if one node misbehaves or something (DR bucket render element)
