  • Debug shading question

    Hi,

May I know what is Isolate Locked Selection and how to use it?

I know V-Ray will render what object or light I select in the scene only, but not sure what is Isolate Locked Selection, and how to use it ???
    Best regards,
    Jackie Teh

    Hi Jackie,

It will lock selection rendering on the object which V-Ray "finds" selected on turning on "Isolate Locked Selection" or when restarting IPR. The locked selection will remain for the respective IPR session.

If it was that easy, it would have already been done

      Hi,

It sounds like the isolate selected can do the same thing, am I right?
      Best regards,

This does not touch the max scene, which is beneficial in a number of ways.
