  • Ior when inside water volume

When inside a body of water, let's say an ocean, and you look up towards the water surface, is the ior still 1.33 or does it change because your going into air?

If I change the ior to something like 0.85 it kinda seems like its doing the correct thing...but obviously I'm just smacking numbers in with no real idea!

And help and advice would be excellent.
    Thank you
    Andy

Hehe sometimes my ageing brain manages things quite well, although I spent quite a bit of time with that thread, as it was interesting
and I learned from it. Like all the best threads they usually contain little snippets which stick....today's was 'frit marks'...who knew?!
