where does one set the font and font size used by Max?

I dont think it can be done in max. You just have to change the windows font sizes.

Hi, I have tried that but the only text it effects is the text on the top tool bar which is basically a Windows window

The text on the right side seems to be a Max setting. Maybe its done through a configuration file Max reads when it starts up, because I haven't been able to find a function to set it front within Max.

I think you can change your Windows font size, but then 3dsmax will complain and the 3dsmax UI may look distored (e.g. text being clipped away etc).

The whole 3dsmax UI has been written with the idea of a particular font and size in mind, so it can't be changed as a setting.

Hi Vlado,

Please see my post relating to this in the bug sections.

I didn't change the font style and size on purpose, but by accident. Since then I have reset it to what it is on my other machines, but the font within Max has stayed unchanged.

I also think that Tischo is correct in saying that is the reason why I can't install VRay on the machine in question, because the font display is to big for me to see the option I must select.
