  • matte Shadow..

i know this has been discussed before, but after a search in this forum i still don´t have a clue what to do:

    http://img159.echo.cx/img159/6943/problem6mi.jpg

left image: shadow pass from vray. plane on the ground is vraymat.
right image:rgb pass with plan set to matte mat with vraymtlwrp
middle image: both mats standard vray rgb pass.

if the plane is set to matte mat the shadow pass is complete black..

what i want is a shadow pass from a matte material..

a workaround is just to render with vray like in the first image..

    any suggestions?

    regards

    Hi,
I don't know if I have understood your problem right. You can assign a standard material to the teapot and uncheck "visible to camera" in the properties. Then you get only it's shadow. (The plane is matte)
    Is this what you want?
