  • How to get DARKER SHADOWS?

so I have a client that is looking for his renderings to have a heavy dark shadow.
please see the attached examples for the dark shadows. (not my renderings)
I kind of think that these were done with Enscape rather than Vray
    what do you guys think?

Those render are not very good, you should try to do better than that. To get nice shadows use proper lighting techniques and tone map the image using the VFB.
If you post your image and your lighting setup it will be easier to tell where you need to improve.

What Sirio said, and I don't think making the shadows darker would be hard.. the default ACES sRGB view transform already has a lot of contrast.. or just the filmic tonemap layer in the frame buffer, it should be able to achieve the same contrast
If you share a screengrab it will be helpful
