when, v-ray for maya?

Is it possible to get approximate release date of V-ray beta for Maya from you guys in V-ray team? I definitely would like to switch to Maya completly. The only thing which keeps me stucked with 3ds max is V-ray.

That is definately true, beta testing is needed. But thought that my secret wish is becoming true ( with first screeshot posted ) makes me so, so, so happy.
btw. aren't we all now with our 1.47.xx builds (with 3ds max) within betatesting?

yeah, but intergration into maya is a totally different thing so it must be tested there as well.

us usual internal testers havent heard anything yet about beta testing for any new versions of vray. but they seem to be going full steam ahead with their own testing

I think a better question would be, "when is the public beta coming?" Although, in all likelihood, the answer would still be the same: When it's ready!

Yeah i doubt there will be any specfic date, after what happened when they gave a date for 1.5 and it wasnt met.

I can only assume the answer will be something like "soon" or "when its done"
