  • Lighting turned to flat-bright with merged model

I was working on a project and the lighting was fine. I merged a file (Evermotion 3D plants/grass) and now the lighting is gone. Below is the before and after. There are no new lights, etc. I tried merging rendering settings from older files, but that doesn't change anything.

How do I fix this? I deleted all of the Evermotion 3D from the scene.

Merging everything, including rendering settings, seems to have worked. Any idea what the problem was or how to fix it next time (this was a tiny file, so not a big deal, but a larger one would be)?

    Thanks!

Hard to say. It will be best if you send us your scene. You can do that here or through our contact form: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Please do not forget to collect and send all assets (textures, proxy models, etc.)

Hi, merging worked. I saw some error about a material not being compatible with the Evermotion file, but that hasn't caused catastrophic problems like this before.

If it shows up again I'll send the file.

        THanks!
