Kudos to Chaos for the decals! I have been wanting to use it, tried it today, and it is awesome. Thank you.

Yeah it's a great addition and totally saved me on a recent very awkward project.
Unfortunately just too late for the latest update which now allows for animating the parameters.
That would have saved me a load of work

I wanted to put hopscotch on some sidewalk, and it worked perfectly! I see this for road markings... so many things.

So many possibilities that are such a pain to do otherwise.
After building a vehicle recently I wanted to of course make it dirty, which is
a total pain involving unwrapping to do properly and still awkward to do even with simple UVW mapping.
Decals solve these kinds of situations in such a nice interactive way...and in no time at all

Looks great, though I would roughen the 'chalk' up a bit, as it looks a bit too solid atm. No deal-breaker though.
The people integration looks great apart from the little girl, who has mastered levitation!
Also, I would probably say have some other person on the left who is being talked to by the guy on the bench...he is gesticulating as if someone is there
The 2 boys work brilliantly well...it's a shame about the hair on the other scanned models when they are close up....something I always try to replace with photo hair from somewhere, if possible.

I didn't catch the floating girl. The man on the porch... yeah, I caught that. He is looking at the camera guy .

Hey, why decals preview doesnt work? It didnt show the texture, its just black. Can you fix that please?

Works here when using a bitmap....what are you using?

bitmap, but shows as black. Do you need something special in viewport or material editor?

Nope, nothing special...just a Vray material with whatever bitmap, apply to decal and use a mask if needed.

Are the walls on the house reflective? The upper floor walls seem to have the sky texture on them, as if theyre chrome. Maybe its just my eyes?

I mean only the preview in viewport. VRay Decals works great of course, only preview in viewport doesnt work, just only black box.

No, I replaced the sky in PS and missed that.
