How Can I get Vray glass to look like this?

To me it looks like a simple glass shader, black diffuse, white reflection/refraction and maybe a bit of tint for the fog. The rest comes mostly from the environment reflection/refraction.
Here is a quick test done in C4D, glass parameters are the same in Max:

The coloring and the "thick look" both come from the "fog" which absorbs light passing through.
Without it, the glass with a white refraction will be comparatively difficult to see (along with being unphysical: there's nothing with 100% transparency in nature.) if not for the reflections on it.Last edited by ^Lele^; 03-01-2022, 01:48 PM.Lele
