  • 180 spherical camera

Hi, i have just moved over from redshift for a project and looking to create this result where it rendering in a sphere shape with empty corners. Currently in the camera settings, if i set it to spherical panorama it still renders the corners and not a sphere shape.

    Thanks!

Hi you probably want to use the "fish eye" mode. Here is how it looks:

If you disable the "fish eye auto-fit" you can adjust how far from the edges you want your image to fit. In my example with the auto-fit it takes the whole frame.

Actually i cannot see this option in Vray GPU?? is it supported? because its actually 100% needed for this project.

If this is not supported which it looks like it isn't. is there a workaround of some kind?

Hi it is not supported in GPU. I found a possible workaround for this. It involves using the OSL from this web site: https://render.otoy.com/forum/viewto...p?f=36&t=68487

I have tested it and got these results:

You can try it yourself as a workaround but keep in mind this not our development nor webpage. I am just sharing information.
