  • Glare & Bloom as Renderelement only

    Hello,
a basic question about bloom & glare:

Sometimes it’s a separate render elenent (and beauty pass natural as it should), sometimes it’s unfortunately baked into the beauty pass.
Has it to do, which layer is enabled in the vray frame buffer or is it just contrlled by the render elements?

    thanks

Hi it depends how you save your image. For instance if you have your Lens Effects layer enabled in the VFB the glare will be baked in the RGB:

yes, I think the trick is to disable it in the VFB, but to check there in the VFB „save as a separate renderelement“.
