Preserve energy mode (VrayMtl)

Hello,

does anybody knows, when (in which Vray version) the feature "preserve energy mode" in the options rollout of the VrayMtl was implemented?

I'm wondering also about the following things:

• what was the default behavior of the VrayMtl without tis option .. monochrome or RGB?
• what happens, if I load or import an "old" scene with an VrayMtl without this option, how does Vray handle this option? Switch to monochrome or RGB?

Not exactly sure, but it was before V-Ray 3. What's the reason for asking?

It's always been there, it defaults to RGB.
It should also be left alone, in general.
