  • VrayMtlWrapper and back object

    Hi everyone,
I create a matte shadow on a plan with VrayMtlWrapper, and I would like to have the texture of the object behind to appeared and the shadow of my matte shadow object at the same time,
I know that I can create it by compositing my image, but it would be so faster if i just would have to check a box on VrayMtlWrapper parameter .
    thanks for helping.

One way to do it is to render the scene (without shadow catchers) and use it as a background screen projection. Afterward, apply the wrapper to all objects - the result should be the one you've referenced. Here's an example file.

thanks a lot ! it works, but in a way it's still like compositing the picture, you have to pre-rendered the background scene and in a second time use it in another render.
