  • Tashko your progressive caustics solver cannot handle complex interior pool scene

Tashko your progressive caustics solver cannot handle complex interior pool scene produces no clean caustics on the overhead beams and concrete walls even with different search distances only massive fireflies and in the open pool scene no good caustics on the wooden walls in scene 2

Thank you very much for your feedback.
We'll have a look at the scene and we'll see what we can do in order to improve the accuracy and the noise levels of the caustics.

Madcat117, have you got a render of what you expect to see? Perhaps from another render engine. I can see the criticisms in your video make sense, but Id be interested if you have a render to compare to that you think does a god job in the same scene.

vray should never compromise on any scene and is the industry standard and will continue to seek out perfection no matter the cost as Chaos has more than enough money and staff that they could hire to produce my super scene I want which is truly how a real world interior pool complex scene should perform

Honestly, without . or , your posts are totally unreadable.

Haha exactly. It's like the ramblings of a madman.

If your scenes are built like your sentences I'm not suprised you're not getting what you want.

And why are you even directing this to Tashko, like he has anything to do with it.

Also, I take it that you know how much resources Chaos has, so they can produce your 'super' scene... My god, the audacity....
