  • Vray Curvature renders wrong when using large radius in thin (shelled) objects

    Hi.

I'm using VrayCurvature map in a thin (1 mm) object and I think it "reads" the other side some how. The whole objects becomes black if I use larger radius than 1 mm in it (smaller renders ok), but I need to use something like 1 cm in it. Is there any way to ignore the other side, or how to say it better... ignore backface or something. Hope you know what I mean

    Thanks in advance

    Mikko.

Hi, if the radius is equal or larger number than the shell modifier amount you will get solid color for the VRayCurvature.
What do you want to achieve and why is it necessary to use shelled geometry?
