EXR proxy?

This may not be a vray question but thought i’d ask as my sequence was rendered in vray.

I have rendered a 5890x5890 exr image sequence. As you can imaging it’s quite heavy. Does vray have a feature to convert exr files to a smaller version and retain its channels?

or is there anything out there that might help for this?

Any modern compositing package has a proxy mode.
AE and Nuke surely do, and i assume Fusion still has one as well (but haven't opened it in years.).
