Has anyone used nPower translator with Vray? If so does it work well? Did it reduce your render times/file sizes?

    Thanks for your feed-back

I use it all the time to import rhino files.

The new versions work very well! Surfaces look always nice and the meshing solution is great. It gives you very good details while keeping polycount pretty low.

For huge scenes with lots of objects it's also great as the mesher is set by default to mesh objects based on their size in the render. This greatly reduces polycounts.

Agree with flipside. We use Rhino2Max all the time. Very good.

Currently it doesn't import layer names, but apparently, they will fix this next version...

Can only third the stated experiences. We use Catia2Max and the standard translators. They do a great job
