  • Am I breaking tilt & shift?

Trying to use tilt shift to give this box a more strait on view (less perspective). When I do anything with tilt & shift I lose the icon for the camera in the viewport. And the camera seems to zoom to nowhere. No matter what I do I can not get it back until I reload the scene. So is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Trying to do what this guy is doing here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OI95txelXB0

If I understand correctly what you mean to achieve, then you don't need tilt/shift.

You really just need to adjust the focal length and the camera's distance from the object to achieve less perspective.

Thanks for your reply. Any idea why the camera is vanishing? I have to revert to opening my last save to get it back.

It's not vanishing really, just that the numbers go a bit crazy. When/if it happens just look at the tilt/shift parameters and you should see that one of the entries will
be e.g. -10000, so just reset that to 0 by unchecking the 'automatic vertical shift' box.

With the disappearing icon....I seem to remember that being an issue on older versions, so maybe that is the reason,
as I don't see that happening in a test here.
