  • UV cordinates G Buffer RPF

    This subject has come up before but I didn't read anything about UV mapping co-ordinates. I am trying to replace a texture on a billboard in an animation using texture replace in combustion. I cannot seem to to get Vray to save the UV information. It looks fine when saved in Scanline but in Vray - no dice. Can Vray save the mapping information ?

    could you render the billboard in a seperate scanline pass?

      Could do but it gets tricky

      I was thinking of that as plan B, but it always gets tricky when you have other objects - railing, buildings ect moving in front of the camera. I would probably turn everything else in the scene into an alpha matt and then lay the billboard ontop in the comp. It would be sweet to do it all together, then there is no fussing with layers and materials.
