  • how to light an exterior in the evening?

    I've to light an office building (exterior render in the evening).
    Which is the best way and the fast way to light the rooms? with vray lights on celings or with vray light materials on the celings?
    I think that omni with vrayshadows and area shadows is the worse way...or am I wrong?

    thanx

    Usually i like to put vraylights close to windows, inside the room. This give to the room soft light, depending from the multiplier... of course.

    Remember to set double sided

              Thanks,

              Well.. settings are not so special.

              Environment is a dark blue (like the background) , multi = 2

              1 direct light as moon light for shadows, with a multi = 0,5 and color medium grey (with a touch of darkblue)

              Street lights are IES

              Vraylights (windows) multipliers around 8/12.

              That's all.

              Max file with trees .. around 150 megs.. ..

              Hope this helps

                    @vince,
                    Thanks

                    This is the only one i have, don't know if it helps. For this work i imported a dwg file, using the old max5 dwg import.
