  • v-Ray 6 Solo

I currently have a v-Ray 5 subscription for 3ds Max that I can run in my desktop and notebook computer, they don't run at same time and that's ok for me. But I'm afraid v-ray 6 new license will only run in one computer. Is there any way to have v-ray 6 installed in both, workstation and notebook, with one license? Sometimes I'm working remotely and I need to run it on my notebook as well. Could you guys please clarify the new license scheme?

    Thanks

Hey Felipe, if you want to be able to move your license easily between machines, we'd recommend the V-Ray Premium Plan.
It includes a floating license of V-Ray that you can use on any computer.
Not sure if you use other 3D apps besides 3ds Max, but now all V-Ray subscriptions work with all host apps.
And V-Ray Premium comes with other Chaos tools too: Phoenix, Player, Scans, and Vantage.
    Hope that helps!
