VRay Clouds view from above

Been messing with the new VRay clouds and I love them, but something that doesn't seem possible is to look at them from a downward angle? Is this on the roadmap? It would really make some flying scenes much easier. Right now it just seems to flip the clouds around when I try to get at a higher angle.

They are currently meant as a background, so there is no way to either interact with them or pass through/over them.
If you have the collection, it should be quite trivial to make nice hero clouds with Phoenix, that can then be manipulated as individual volumes.

EDIT: I got confirmation from the Devs that being above is indeed doable, and that he'll look into it for a future update.
