  • Best way to export from 3DS Max to Sketchup

    Hi,
what is the best way to export .vrscene or .vrmesh from 3DS MAX to Sketchup with all materials.

What are the elements (objects, materials, scale, origin,...) that are not taken into account or that need to be modified in 3DS MAX before creating a .vrscene or a .vrmesh for Sketchup.

I know there are some export plugins (D5 Render,...) but I'd rather stay with the .vrscene or .vrmesh solution

    Thank you very much.

    Dear DCHA34, hello.

This could start a great discussion. Similar one is located here, where many helpful advices are given (including overseeing the used V-Ray versions in both platforms).
I've updated the link in Georgi's comment, since it was outdated. So everything should be accessible now.

Have you met any particular issues due to export/import or you are asking for the perfect recipe?

    Best regards,
    TS
