  • Vray Standalone for Windows 10 vs. Linux

    Hello,
I just ran vray benchmark on the same computer once booting Windows 10 and once booting Linux.

AMD Ryzen 5950X 32 Threads (default settings, no OC)

    win10 20406
    linux 22078 +8,19%

Linux core has definitely better multitasking than windows

    Kind regards

I just configured a mixed environment test set, my workstation on win10 and the DR slaves on linux. It is running so great, powerfull and smoth.
It is so nice to see, that you can render your vrscene on any available system win/linux/macos with the same great result.
I export from max a vrscene file and start it outside of max in a DOS window. The linux DR servers start immediately as well.
