Can I convert a Chaos Scatter to instanced objects?

I have scattered a bunch of V-Ray lights on a mesh and now I would like to convert these scattered lights to instances and delete the Chaos Scatter object. Is this possible?

There's a "Convert to Max geometry" button in the Chaos Scatter node that should do exactly that.
