How do you render VRay sun clouds for AfterFX?

Shows up in the frame buffer, but exr output is black BG, even with VRayBG enabled in Render Elements

You mean you'd like the sun and sky (with the clouds) to show up in their own RE?

Alpha is probably getting premultiplied - you need to ignore alpha for the EXR (Project>RMB on .exr >Interpret Footage).
