  • Chaos Scatter: Random offset of Animation

As the title suggests, im looking for a way to randomly offset when the animation starts of my scattered objects.

Currently they all move in sync. Is there no way to do this with Chaos Scatter?

Exporting as .vrscene and load it again through the VRayScene node, where animation override options are available can be used as a workaround. Otherwise, I'll talk to the devs to implement those settings in the VRayScatter if possible.

      Hi, thanks, makes total sense.

One more workaround for now is to copy the scattered model several times, tweak animation starting frame for each, and then scatter these. I.e. instead of one model object plugged in Scatter one would have N model objects there. It is a bit cumbersome but might solve your problem.
