  • crazy question - brightness of lights vs camera exposure

does VRAY care if you crank up the brightness of your lights vs. changing camera exposure to have a brighter render? does it affect reflection/refractions/noise/animations or anything.

for example setting a vray light from 30 default units to 4000 and leaving the camera set to EV14 vs. changing camera EV to 6 and leaving the lights at their default of 30.

    ps - using GPU rendering.

    thanks,

If the comparison is correctly set - there should not be a difference. Cameras and Lights compensate for each other.
