  • Why are Rendering point cloud taking time?

Hello, I just wonder, when redering a point cloud file, the rendering parameter are useless right?
Vray just grab the information in the point cloud file to display it in vray frame buffer, there is not GI, relfection, refraction, even no light, so nothing to compute, so I wonder why it takes time!

If all you need is a dirty and cheap visualisation, you can surely render it with 1 subdiv for max AA.
Fair warning, it's likely it'll look very poor.
