Self Illuminated Objects

How do you control the light subdivisions for a for a self illuminated object?
I'm getting alot of noise in a scene I'm using this kind of material in.

self illuminated object emmits gi, so its the gi thats producing the noise.

Aha, I had to increase the QMC GI subdivisions. I don't use self illuminated objects very often. thanks Dmitry
