  • Is there a temp Irradiance map file

What I did: Yesterday, I sent difrerents renders through Backburner, after that closed my working max file, and opened the server on my machine, so my machine is now part of the rendering nodes.

Now, I need my machine, usually, I would cancel the render going on my machine, save the irr map, and re-send the render on one of the machines that are free by now.. But as I sent it through backburner, If I do cancell I am losing everything!!!!.. My don't delete option is on, but my autosave Irr map is not

So, is this map saved somewhere out of max, so I can grab it, save it somewhere and render it whit an other node....

    Thanks..

if you sent the file through BB, it will only save the irmap if you have specified a file name and location. otherwise it only renders to memory and then flushes the memory when it renders the next frame or max closes.

So the short answer is yes, you've lost you're irmap.
