DR 10 node limitation question

try open up like 500 connections or something... i would say its pretty unlikely that it was problem with 50 but you never know.
Also you should have had any problems saving to the Linux server. As that isnt affected by the 10 connection limit at all.

If we get windows 2003 SERVER for the manager do we need extra CAL licences?. will there still be a connection limit issue with backburner and more than 10 render farm machines if we don't add more CAL's?

According to MS licensing, yes. But its really an honor-system.
