  • TriPlaner Texture Rotation control per object

    Hello,

    Is there a way to change/control the triplaner texture rotation per object?
    Rotatting the pivot does nothing. Also tried using UVXForm to no avail.

    Triplanar disregards UVW and is procedurally generated, the only way to control it is with the rotation settings in the map itself, that would mean duplicating your map/shader as many times as you need to fit your objects afaik. But I could be wrong.

      Not exactly, but you can use the "Texture rotation map" with a VRayUserColor node (where X, Y, and Z correspond to R, G, and B). Note that the "Random texture rotation" option must be active. F.e. a user attribute of "test = 1,1,0.25" will randomize only the Z axis (VRayUserColor uses the 0-1 range).
