  • Vray RAW Output with Layers - Denoiser&LUT question

    Hi,
I'm preparing an .exr RAW file with layers for post production automation. I have two problems:
1 - Is it possible to set the RGBA output layer to have a denoiser applied? VrayDenoiser.RGB has a black background and when I put an Alpha mask on it, the shade of the transparent part changes
2 - Is it possible to save VFB color correction (Lookup Table) in a RAW file?
Thank you very much for any help

    1. The EffectsResult is what you're seeking (RGB + Denoiser), however, based on the attached image, your background color is black. I presume your alpha affects all channels, hence why it affects refractive surfaces. Your best bet might be to render a simple mask (MultiMatte or just an ExtraTex with a white VRayColor node, affecting only the object).
    2. Yes - make sure the "Save in Image" in the LUT layer and "Save VFB color corrections to RGB channel" (located in the Save V-Ray image file menu) are active.
