  • effectResult and RGBA

    Hi,
playing around with V-Ray Framebuffer (LightMix/CryptoMatte and Compositing) and EXR MultiChannel/Multipart - I was sure there was an option with which you could save the "effectsResult" directly in the "rgba" channel. Am I wrong? It would make my life easier right now and save me from having to rework half of my scripts.

    Best regards!

Hi, thanks for posting. It depends how you save your output. If you save trough the Separate render channels then you will have the effects result always.
If you are using multichannel output or the V-Ray raw image file as it is called in the UI you have to enable this checker:

      Hi Vladimir,
thanks for answering! I don't have "Lens Effects" enabled - i only do some Exposure, ColorCorrection and LightMix - see screenshot attached - and store it in a "V-Ray raw image file"-MultiPart-EXR. When rendering the image i get a denoised and colorcorrected "effectsResult" part - but the RGBA part i only get the noisy image. If I remember correctly, there was an option to save everything from the effectsResult directly to the RGBA - or am I wrong?

      Bests regards!
