Sure...totally adequate to play around with and I'm mid project anyway, so not switching any time soon

It's finally color managed, so yes, we can do that too now.

I have been bitten by the AD bug too often. I'll wait for everyone else to endure the AD pain machine first . I mean, common. The last MAX 2023 update bricked MAX for everyone, for a month; I persoanlly had to roll back.

This is a generally wise approach: the "hidden" cost of early adoption is actually a thing, and not for AD products only either.

We 'should' be older and wiser by this point, so any adverse outcomes are surely down to silliness

That is of course not to say that some software updates are done from the server side and can mess things up...see the post on Cosmos downloads as an example...

Well I think we should be happy that the offering is inticing enough that we're actually considering the risk of early adoption. The last few releases have been commendable given their history.

Um...I got a specific BitDefender alert from the nightly... Named TrickOrTreat.Gen.1.
The reason I mention it is that I've never once had an alert like this from anything at all
in my memory, so thought it worth mentioning.
I won't install this until it can be verified as some bizarre false positive

Lets first release V6 and then we'll see if there will be V5 for 2024 at all. Reminder - these things take development time and effort and we also have an official policy - https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/a...ducts-support-
If it was that easy, it would have already been done
