  • Warning: Render element velocity detected while motion blur is enabled

i think i get this error b/c i have render element: vraydenoiser (set to nvidia denoiser) and motion blur turned on in my camera. is there an issue i need to watch out for? just updated vray today. I believe i got same error in prior version. thanks.

I can't reproduce the warning this way. However, it either warns to avoid duplicate velocity channels (I can't remember what, but something generated its own velocity channel) or that using motion blur with VRayVelocity will make the AOV unusable (since it should not be affected by motion blur to get correct motion blur in post).

hm. i do have velocity channel in the VFB. so do you think this means that camera movement motion blur isn't working then?

I managed to reproduce the warning - it does not need Denosier, just VRayVelocity and active motion blur on GPU.

More like the render element should not be rendered. However, for some reason, it is, regardless of the warning. So basically, you shouldn't worry too much about the warning. Otherwise, I'll ask around to see if everything is as it should be.
