But seriously, I don't think they have indicated what the future of vray is beyond the coming maya and stand alone versions. Aside from the stuff they showed at siggraph for 1.5? I don't know if they have indicated what to expect from a 2.0

As far as release dates goes, I don't think they've committed to an actual date for anything. Which is a good thing if you don't want to risk blowing a deadline and upsetting a bunch of people.
