  • Vray physical camera roll (landscape vs portrait)

Hello, I have looked this issue up but have not found any info on it. I basically want to be able to have different cameras within my scene that have a regular "landscape" orientation and some that have are portrait. With regular 3ds max cameras I could just enter a 90 degree value in the Roll window for the camera. I've tried different things with my vray physical camera with no success, can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Duplicate your camera, delete any position or rotation keys. Parent it to the original camera, align if required, roll the duplicate 90deg.

Or just change the render dimensions to be vertical, but then you likely have to copy the horizontal FOV to the vertical FOV.

Hi Carlos, did you try with "Resolution override" in the VRayPhysicalCamera settings? You can set a specific resolution for each camera.
You can find more about this here.

Maybe Smart Camera View could be a solution for you?
