  • Warning from Vray. Will this effect my render?

I am getting the following on a project I am currently working on: "warning: Scene bounding box is too large, possible raycast errors".

Parts of the model come from ADT and the rest I created. Will this "warning" effect my render?

    Thanks,

I had those warnings, and did not effect my renders as far as I could see.

I am pretty sure it will not have a visual effect. We get this all the time as we model our buildings in mm. I think it means that objects very many units from 0,0 (millions of units I think) may be placed slightly inaccurately. Also, if you transform objects very many units away from 0,0, it may not be so precise. It is something to do with the optimization methods employed by Max (similar to OpenGL or something).

It is annoying though - even in ADT, you cannot extrudde something more than 100000 units. If you have an extrusion of 200000 units, you need to union to objects together. Mad!
