  • Diffuse Color Affecting Texture Map

    Hi,

    This might seem like a strange question, but when did the diffuse color start affecting the tint of a texture map in the diffuse slot for a VRay Material? Currently just moved to version 6 and have not experienced this before.

      Hello, yes it is set to 100%. See attached test scene. Unless I set the diffuse color to black it tints the texture map. Normally the map will always override the diffuse color.

        It's because the bitmap alpha source is set to use the image alpha in the targa, so setting it to none will fix this, or resaving the image without the alpha
