  • Which settings to get realistic slightly dirty water?

    Hello,
I am looking for a realistic setup to achieve dirty water. For example, water in a flower vase is always a little cloudy.

Actually the attribute "fog depth" would look good, but there is only on or off. When I set this on 0 the water is clear, when I set it on 0,01 the water is completely foggy.
When I put the water on thin-walled, it is something in between, but has not this realistic foggy look anymore.

And thin walled - but this is less realistic...

Try INCREASING fog depth. (Can go way over 1.0 as it’s essentially a distance)

Hi, thanks for posting. Have you tried to render the material or you are relying purely on the material editor preview? The preview is not 100% accurate especially regarding the fog color.
