  • What is the standard process for compositing lightmix elements in aftereffects?

I've tried just using add in the same order as the lightmix inside VFB but the final result is way too bright. Aftereffects is set to 32bit project. Any help appreciated.

Show us a screencap/video/image of the comp. Most likely something is doubled.

We don’t use AE, but rather than add up all the layers of light mix we typically just add or subtract the lights we want to change with the beauty. In other words, you can subtract as well as add. Saves you from an overly complex comp when you likely only need to adjust a few lights. (Of course we try to get everything as close as possible in the actual render. )
