Chaos Scatter VS Forest Pack

What are the pros and cons? I used Chaos Scatter for the first time today,and it seems to do what Forest Pack Pro does.

Forest pro is a paid plugin, so there is extra cost. Its much more developed and has much more options. Chaos scatter is fairly new, it has a way to go in terms of catching up to forest pro, but its free, well integrated into vray and will do most of what forest does.

I used it for the first time yesterday. All I use Forest Pack Pro for is scattering, so I'll see if I can survive with just using Chaos Scatter for awhile.
