  • vray command line

can someone point me in the direction where I can find the text that needs to be added to the max's command line renderer to access the vray vfb and gbuffer passes?

I did not see anything listed in the online help file.

    thanks,

What kind of access do you need? I'm not sure and I may be wrong, but I *think* you can pass MaxScript parameters on the command line to the renderer, which may be what you need. Or use the render presets to change VFB/g-buffer options.

    Best regards,

i wanted to know whether or not the command line renderer needed specific instructions to save vray vfb or gbuffer channels. Or will it just do what ever was set up in the render dialog when the file was last saved?

it will do whatever the settings you already have in the render dialog..

you can 'override' any of the settings you wish via the command line parameters and maxscript parameters.. (Or pass it a maxscript file..)

        its a handy toy
