Daylight System, using Time Zone or not?

Hi everyone,

I've have a question about the Daylight System. I've always assumed that if you enter the location (in my case, Amsterdam) there is no need to enter the Time Zone (leave it to "0") because that information would come from the location, right? But if I check the sunrise and sunset times on Google, it looks like I do have to set the Time Zone to 1 (and the sun from the Daylist System is near the horizon in the viewport).

Can anyone tell me what the correct settings for using the Daylight System are?

Hi, thanks for posting. Here you can find the documentation about 3ds Max's Daylight System. There is also a daylight saving time option, you might want to check this. I haven't used the location option so I can't say if they work or not but the time zones have worked pretty well whenever I used daylight system.
