Hi, which version do you mean? the path guiding you mention here is "Diffuse path guiding option" or the normal path guiding only?

The label changed because now it does it for speculars and volumes too.

Yes, i didn't recall the "Diffuse" path guiding option you mention either, but assumed you stumbled into some nightly with a misnomered label (as initially it only worked for GI paths.).
That one you see is the only path guiding option V-Ray has ever had, whatever its name may have been.

It mention in the nightlies release note I install it because of the "diffuse path guiding"
