    i am having trouble getting the slave to dr render while using rpcs.

    renders fine on single pc with render gi off.

    i am using the rpc content manager, is any one else having the same problem?

    We have lots of problems with rpcs. The main issue is that. Our slaves can't be put to render all at the same time, because it uses all the windows connections (10 for winxp). If your rpc content is on a win2003 server (no connection limits), the cause sould be the high access to the disk, since rpc tend to be heavy on the rpc prepass, makes the slaves failed trying to access the same files, the solution should be a raid setup with high speed access to the disk and a fast network.

      i am not using a server, i am only dr between two machines, XP sp 1. rpc content is in folder with other maps etc on both machines. dr works great until i have rpc in the scene.
